SIMO NPWT - How it Works and Why it's Different.
The SIMO Negative Pressure System delivers controlled negative pressure that creates macro‑strain to draw wound edges together and micro‑strain to stimulate cellular activity, angiogenesis, and granulation. The device integrates three sensory feedback systems—a universal visual colour band, an auditory alert, and a tactile/visual button for hearing‑impaired users—to ensure pressure status, seal integrity, and continuity of therapy. Combined with its all‑in‑one patented three‑layer polymer dressing, smart pattern design for dressing‑change cues, and canister‑free operation, SIMO makes wound care simpler, safer, and more efficient across community and post‑acute settings.
SIMO Dressings - Smart, Structured and Patient-Centered.

The SIMO system uses an all‑in‑one, three‑layer patented polymer dressing designed to optimise moisture balance, protect the periwound skin, and simplify wound care. The waterproof, breathable barrier layer provides protection and is fully showerproof, while the absorption and transfer layer uses highly absorbent polymer technology to manage exudate and maintain an ideal healing environment. A gentle silicone adhesive layer ensures skin‑friendly adhesion, is repositionable, and remains tack‑free when removed. The dressing also features a smart wet‑pattern design that signals when a dressing change is needed, making wound care easier, more efficient, and more predictable for clinicians and patients.
Smart Pattern
Quick assessment of exudate amount and dressing change. Smart pattern disappears gradually when absorbing exudate.
